INITIAL CONSULTATION - NEW CLIENT
Please make your initial visit 2 to 3 weeks in advance. We need to get to know each other and we want to make sure you will be comfortable with us taking care of your pet. After the initial phone call, we will mail you an information sheet. The consultation will last 30 to 45 minutes and is one of the key components to any future customer/client relationship. We will meet with you and your pet and go over all the information concerning your pets and routine. We will keep a record of your veterinarian, your emergency contacts, and obtain two keys (which will be securely coded and filed by us)

MINIMUM DAILY VISITS
Our policy is to visit once a day. Your pet's care is our primary concern, so we will not come every other day. We like to treat pets as if they are our own, and if they become injured or sick 48 hours is a long time to wait.

VISITING HOURS
The hours of our visit(s) can vary according to our schedule at any given time, but as a rule we can visit as early as 6 AM or as late as 10 PM.

HOUSE CHECK ONLY
No pets. Each visit includes: security check, watering plants, bringing in mail, taking out trash, rotating lights, etc.

HOLIDAYS
Please book early. We always work on a first come, first serve basis. Since we're very busy around the holidays, we may have to turn down sitting jobs if you call us at the last minute.
There is a $10.00 extra charge per visit for the major holidays:
Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas, New Year's Eve, and New Year's

KEY PICK UP/RETURN
We will never sell or share your personal information with anyone. Your safety and privacy are important to us, and we will store your keys, information and alarm system codes in a safe location.
We require two keys. This is so that we can have a back up key in case one gets lost. Your pets' well-being is our main concern, and it's much cheaper to make a second key than to call a locksmith! We will use the keys given to us on our initial visit, after they have been tested to ensure they work properly in your lock. We will not use keys that have been hidden, nor will we hide any keys anywhere, as we feel it is unsafe.

PAYMENTS
Our policy is to receive a 50% down payment the day of our initial visit with you. The balance will be collected by our sitter in the form of a check that should be postdated the day of our last service.

REFUNDS
If you cancel your appointment
0 - 48 hours prior to any service, and/or Holidays: 50% is charged (no refunds)  
8 days prior to service or more:  No charge, refund in full.
Overnight Visits.
A cancellation made less than 7 days in advance will be charged 50% of the estimated cost for pet sitting services.

Reservations are made to plan sitter availability to clients.  Therefore, clients returning home early will be required to pay for the reserved amount of time scheduled including travel time.  Clients will not have to pay for scheduled Special Services not preformed.

CONTACT US BEFORE LEAVING AND  RETURNING
We will contact  you 24 to 48 hours before the first visit, if you’ve made reservations in advance. Your plans might have changed and we need this time to rearrange our schedules. You will also need to  contact us 24 to 48 hours before your return. If we have not heard from you we will continue visiting your home, taking care of your pet until you return. Your pets are our first concern. They should not suffer because of our lack of communication skills!

A SAFE HOME 
Please make sure to inform us if any person is expected to visit your home while you are away. Otherwise we will call the police if we see anyone is or has been in your house.
It is also your responsibility to make sure your home is safe for your pet. We are not responsible for any damage to your property caused by your pet or any injuries to your pet while alone at home.
